Millenia tower:

Millenia Tower is a tower with a height of 218 metres and 41 stories at Marina Centre in Singapore. The building is located in Millenia Singapore, and is the centrepiece of the development. The building was featured during the National Day Parade when the then Mediacorp Artiste Evelyn Tan sung the theme song. The tower is crowned by a massive pyramidal roof which is the tallest focal point of the entire development.Millenia Tower is located 0.2 kilometre from Conrad International Centennial. WORLD TRADE CENTRE AT NEW YORK..

The complex was located in the heart of New York City's downtown financial district and contained 13.4 million square feet (1.24 million m2) of office space.[1][2] The Windows on the World restaurant was located on the 106th and 107th floors of the North Tower, while the Top of the World observation deck was located on the 107th floor of the South Tower. Other World Trade Center buildings included the Marriott World Trade Center; 6 World Trade Center, which housed the United States Customs; and 7 World Trade Center, which was built in the 1980s.



 
DESTRUCTION OF WORLD TRADE CENTRE (9/11)

Suicide aircraft attacks on The World Trade Center and the Pentagon left untold numbers injured or dead and threw the cities into chaos on September 11, 2001. It began at the height of a morning rush hour in the nation's largest city. A plane, reportedly a hijacked American Airlines jet, slammed into one tower of the 110-story World Trade Center. As smoke and flames poured out of the building and rescue workers battled to save victims, a second plane hit the second tower. The two towers soon collapsed. Huge clouds of smoke hung over Manhattan. The nearby Wall Street financial markets were also shut down.... however, it waz a really alarming situation...
